Do I qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program?

You or your household qualifies for the Affordable Connectivity Program if you or any member of your household qualifies for:

  • Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch or Breakfast Program in the 2019-20, 2020-21, or 2021-22 School Year
  • SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) or Food Stamps, Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance
  • Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit
  • Federal Pell Grant in the Current Award Year
  • Experienced a Substantial Loss of Income due to Job Loss or Furlough (since February 29, 2020)
  • Tribal Specific Program (If you live on Tribal lands)

What if I already receive Lifeline benefits?

You or your household qualifies for the Affordable Connectivity Program if you currently receive Lifeline benefits.

What if I have experienced a job loss or furlough?

If you have experienced a substantial loss of income since February 29, 2020 because you lost your job, lost your business, or were furloughed, you may qualify for the Emergence Broadband Benefit. You must show proof of job loss or furlough and proof of your total household income under $99,000 for single filers or $198,000 for joint filers.

What is a household?

A household is a group of 2 or more people that live together and share money. If you live with people (such as roommates) but do not share money, you are considered your own household.
